The Dragonfly Project is mainly staffed by volunteers, and we need YOUR help!
Commitment levels vary, and most positions can be done fully remotely.
We have openings in the following volunteer roles:
Graphic Design: We urgently need someone with Adobe Illustrator access to help us with occasional small projects and edits to existing graphics. Approx. 1-3 hours a month.
Social Media Coordinator - Volunteer OR Internship: We are seeking a new volunteer for this due to our previous volunteer needing to step down due to work and school commitments. This role will involve scheduling and making social media posts, especially about our 25th Anniversary in 2027 and related events including a card design contest. We'd like someone who can get us going on Tik Tok as well as managing our existing accounts.
"Adopt-A-State" Program: These volunteers are assigned an area in the USA or Canada and look up obituaries to find survivor addresses for us to send our card/keychain packets to. Time requirement is flexible, we ask people to spend an average of 3 hours per month or more.
We are also looking for an Adopt-A-State Coordinator who will handle territory assignments, process applications, train volunteers etc. Approximate time commitment 3-5 hours per month average.
Event Coordinator: Must be based in the Mpls-St. Paul area. This role will help coordinate events we participate in, which will be especially important next year for our 25th Anniversary year. Time needed is unknown - probably between 3 and 5 hours most months, sometimes less.
Memorial/Honorarium Volunteer: This role involves sending cards to people on behalf of those who have made a donation to TDP in memory of or in honor of someone and asked for a card to be sent. Postage and supplies are provided. Time required is approximately 1 hour per month.

Volunteer Packet Event
We can bring The Dragonfly Project to your group for a service project! Click on the link below and fill out the form. We will try to find a time that works for all.
This service project is appropriate for all ages and skills and is ideal for multi-generational events. Children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision present. We will fold cards, stuff envelopes, use some glue dots and in some cases assemble keychains. Occasionally we have need for stamping.
